ProfileIt-3D™ Stem Scanner provides 3D stem scanning and optimising for log bucking.

By using the 3D stem profile and defects on the stem, an optimal solution can be calculated to cut the stem in to logs. Optimising the stem for value will increase forest return.

The scanned stem profile, diameters and defects are stored in a SQL server database for real-time reporting and analyses.

Easy to set-up and configure

Log Grade Manager is a Microsoft Access application that is used for setting-up and configuring the database.

Step 1 enter grade information.
Step 2 create cut-plans.
Step 3 create process instructions by assigning cut-plans to active stands and harvest crews.
Step 4 publish the process instruction to make them available to the processing crew.

Supported scanners

The scanning software can interface with different scanners.

Depending on the application it may require a few scanners to capture the complete true shape of the object.

ForestBucker is a portable all-terrain tree stem scanner and optimiser. In combination with a forest harvester it provide a complete electronic optimised log bucking solution at the harvest or process location.
